Keith was Wirral disability swimming team manager at the Merseyside
Youth Games 2002/03/04/05. He runs his own successful swimming school
with provision for disability swimmers and special needs. He is disability liaison
officer for Birkenhead Swimming Club, and coaches “East Squad” for the Borough
Swimming Club “Wirral Metro” on a Mondays at “The Oval” Bebington.
Treasurer: Kathy Hoolahan
Kathy worked for Wirral Sports Development and established the “Health Action Zone”
swim programme for children with disabilities. Identified volunteers and facilitated
additional training. Kathy has developed relationships with a wide body of specialist
professionals to provide an indispensable source of advice to help swimmers at all levels.
These include educational swims, after school swimming lessons, special school galas,
Disability North West regional galas and adult disability swimming clubs.

Nigel left his post of head coach for the Wirral to join British Swimming in 2001.
He was selected to guide a five strong team to success at the US Disability National
Championships. The swimmers were of some note, including Sarah Bailey MBE,
Giles Long, Richie Barber, Ian Sharpe and David Roberts. The swimmers produced
four world records, with David Roberts producing two of them. Nigel is currently
the swimming development officer for a local authority. He coaches West Squad
at Wirral Metro, and provides ongoing support to disability swimmers one of
whom is on the ASA World Class Start Programme.
