MERSEYSIDE SCHOOLS SWIMMING GALA
THURSDAY 9th OCTOBER 2008
EUROPA POOLS, BIRKENHEAD
10.00am - 2.30pm
The gala is open to all children with a learning/physical/sensory disability.
The races will be run on a time and age banding system, where possible children will swim against children of similar ability.
The Merseyside Schools gala is part of the development for swimmers who wish to participate in a more competitive structure.
The gala will be used to provide a link to local clubs and DSE squads, invited swimmers will be entered into the DSE qualifier on Sunday 9th November 2008 at Europa Pools. (see below)

Registration 3.30pm; warm up 3.45pm; starting 4.15pm
Open to swimmers of all ages, with any physical disability, visual or hearing impairment, or learning difficulty, from the North West (Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancs, Manchester, Merseyside).
Entries to be in ASAP - by November 1st at the latest.

you will be able to apply to British Swimming for Classification.
